INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CAMP
global culture ¨ voice ¨ movement ¨ writing ¨ leadership
Through fun, professionally guided workshops with a diverse community, students will be exposed to a global culture and acquire deep knowledge in physical and vocal work, writing, and leadership. Together, we will create plays out of western fairy tales and Indian folk–tales!
Workshop Directors: Dipankar Mukherjee and Katie Herron
2 Sessions for ages 11 and up:
Session 1: August 3-8
Session 2: August 10-15
Time: Monday through Saturday 1:30-5:00 p.m.

Look out for our new Kalari postcards when you’re out and about! Kalari is one of the oldest martial arts forms in the world originating in Southern India. This training is all about disciplining the physical body and attaining mental balance. Many movments are similar to those practiced in Yoga, with a focus on self-defense and increased energy and stamina. Pangea World Theater is one of the few institutions in the U.S. that offer training in this unique art form. All age groups and ability levels are encouraged to join!
