When something happens in our community, it affects all of us. We turn to art and to each other, for the strength, wisdom, and courage to move forward. 

At Pangea World Theater, we know that art has the power to change our reality... that is why we created the performance series Another World Is Possible. This series supports local artists who are responding to the most pressing issues of our times, and using their craft to build community. 

Another World Is Possible flies in the face of what we consider the norm. It supports practices that are liberatory, aesthetics and forms that are genre-defying, and artists who transcend the margins, and challenge our conception of how to be in this world. 

These artists are steeped in grassroots activism, whose work honors the multiple communities they come from.  Their work is deeply anti-racist, anti-homo/transphobic, and stands for justice.
